• Question: What came first, the chicken or the egg?

      That’s more of a biology not engineering question.

      Well, long long ago, there was this funny animal that nobody could identify but which needed a name. The local people suggested that it should be called a kludge, but it didn’t think that it suited him as he was covered in feathers. Someone else suggested a flooky, but he didn’t like it as it seemed that he was there by chance. Lots more people tried different names, but nothing seemed suitable. Finally, the people became quite upset and asked him what was the matter ? Was he frightened of having a name ? He said, “Yes, because I’m chicken”.

      So, the chicken came before the egg, definitely.

      I guess it depends whether you believe in god, evolution, both or neither.
