• Question: Do you think you would have still wanted to become an engineer if your teachers for engineer related subjects weren't as good ( Ken, you mentioned your maths teacher and Harriet, you mentioned your physics teacher) ?

      Difficult to say, but I think I’d still have continued but probably got worse results. In fact, it was what I did AFTER the engineering course that really switched me on to what I did after turning 40. So often it boils down to getting just any qualification if only to prove that you can work at a high enough technical level, and then working into what really interests you even if it is different from what you started doing.
