      Hi Hannah
Well I chose philosophy as a degree because I thought it sounded interesting – I’d never really thought about engineering. A few years after a got a job working in an office full of engineers and they showed me the work they did and I thought it was interesting – plus they offered to train me up to be an engineer and that’s how I got where I am today.

It would have been easier if when I was younger I’d known you could do fun stuff like I do now and I could have studied something like civil engineering at university!
