      It gets it from below ground.

      In Bangladesh, for instance, which is one of the largest deltas in the world, effectively the whole country is one huge mud bank (with a little bit of sand or silt in places). We “drill” into the mudbank (we actually call it clay) until we hit a layer of silt or sand. This is because while there may be water in the clay, it takes so long to get it out that we want rather to find sand where water can flow more easily and quickly. Then we put pipes down with a fine filter on the bottom which allows water to pass (but not the sand) into the pipes and the Tara forces the water up to the surface.

      I hope that explains it. There are many places in the world where similar mudbanks or deltas exist which might explain why the Tara is suitable for other countries as well.
