Without a doubt, it was my father who was an extraordinary man. He did many things but almost always they were done to help people. He was a farmer and businessman, but above all a philanthropist. He helped set up many schools in Southern Rhodesia and was probably the most effective fund raiser for good causes I have ever known. He raised significant funding for two cathedrals in Rhodesia. He was also, for a short time, a member of parliament. Later, because of his position, he was held under house arrest for over four years but never seemed to be bitter about it despite what it did to his whole family.

I don’t think I need to explain why he was my role model !

Kurt Cobain (from Nirvana) – not much of a role model though as he killed himself when he was young!

Definitely my parents. As they have taught me so much.
But if I think of famous people.. Probably Jack London, Mark Twain. Jack London for his love for adventure and the values: honesty, hard work, real friendship, bravery. Mark Twain for his excellent sense of humour and deep philosophical mind.
